Interpreting services
The prices are negotiable. Every order is different that is why we take into account the level of difficulty, specialization field, number of hours required, etc. evaluating every order separately.
Simultaneous
Interpreting is produced almost simultaneously with the speaker's speech most frequently using equipment (cabins, mikes). This form of the interpreting services is unavoidable during organisation of conferences, international congresses, debates, seminars, studies, trainings, etc..
Consecutive
Interpreting is produced when after one or several sentences the speaker interrupts his/her speech/lecture/thought, etc. giving way to the interpreter who translates the heard sentences. Consecutive interpreting is used at the notary's offices when executing notary's deeds/acts, during talks, business meetings, trade negotiations, other events that are organised for a small number of participants.
Á vista
Oral communication of the received draft of a document, for example, translation of reports from hearings of the parties regarding birth, death, marriage during the meetings at the Registrar General office, other local authorities' offices regarding registration, etc., or upon execution and delivery of the notary's deeds/acts at the notary's offices (performed by sworn translators), where a party to such an action is a foreigner who does not know the Polish language.
Whisper
In Poland, we call it 'whispering translation'. A translator assists a listener or a participant at the meeting and translates the speaker (source) quietly.
Liaison
Translation 'sentence by sentence' is used, for example, at the court hearings/sessions where the precise translation of each word and phrase is of highest essence or at the technical trainings where functioning of a certain mechanism/circuit is explained step by step.
Conference calls
Today, people call each other and get in touch all over the world. A translator can be just another participant of such a conference call facilitating communication between/among its participants.
